This is my first year taking 2 weeks so I'm hoping it is close to heaven, but I am hunting heavily hunted public land so it won't quite be heaven.

Went out today and hung a stand in a new spot. Got a few pics of some doe's and some bucks... Also got this guy. No better pics of his Rack but I think Me and my bro will call him Ram.

should be alot of 200 bu corn and 55-60 bu beans around us. We are in a small pocket of good yields. alot of crops in Missouri are not very good. I also hear Iowa is pretty dry. The markets dont reflect any of this but i dont think the record crop they all saying is out there. This is a good thing......meaning higher prices and i get less windshield time in a combine/semi and more time to hunt.

I live by Bloomington my in laws live in Newton kinda by Wakefield and I do some hunting in jasper county. what about slick head slockers.

I'm good with the consensus for the name. When is everyone's opener this year? Oct 1st for us in IL. Heading out right now to take 3-6 shots with the bow.
