Thanks Tim. There was too much snow, or I would have found more.....and now we're going to get pounded here with 10-15" more. That'll end any shed hunting for me for a few weeks!

We've got too much snow here yet too. The wind was a bit brutal yesterday and a lot worse today so we skipped going out today.

You see the pictures of Buckeye and Shed Head's area with no snow and it just fuels the fire. Our day is coming Dan when this dreaded snow is gone... then it is no mercy on them sheds !!!!! :nana:

I've already cleared the driveway twice today. Was hoping all this stuff would be melting so could get out and do some shed hunting. May have to throw some boots in the van and go after work for a bit.

Well we just recieved another 2 or 3 inches last night. Thats on top of the 10 inches we got on Monday. I dont see any melting weather in the 7 day forcast, man this sucks.

Hope some of you are able to get out there. Good luck!

Well went out yesterday and walked for 6 hours and found nothing but skull from a hog. Got pictures on one camera with 2 bucks without antlers and 2 with. So maybe in a couple more weeks it will be better.

Congrats to everyone so far with the great finds. I will be heading out again after shopping this afternoon. I hope my honey hole is not flooded out.

Yeah, I'm still alive just haven't been in the woods in a while. Been working dark to dark most days and I was on vacation in Florida the last 2 weekends. I'll be out tomorrow on my property to see whats hit the ground. 3 weeks ago I was still getting pics of bucks carrying both sides. That should have changed by now.

I managed to get out to a public hunting area for abot 30 minutes yesterday after work. No sheds found. But, spotted a good scrape that looks recent as well as the remains of two carcasses. Almost looks like they might have been poached as they were side by side. Thoughts?

After 2 non stop days of searching the bluff country of Western, Wi I was unable to find some sheds. Their was a lot more snow then I anticipated after all in the eastern part of Wi its all but gone. Like XXForce I did also find 3 deer carcasses of which one was stuck in a fence. I posted some video on my facebook for your viewing pleasure. (Tony Fraley) https://www.facebook.com/TONY.PEAKRUT.FRALEY
