Probably be a while for me, the buck I really want the sheds off of are holding still (saw him tonight) and there is about 2' of snow and it's -10.....
Good luck peak! I also will be headed out tomorrow. I have a 5 hour walk planned on a very nice piece of property. I know that there are some real nice ones on this property, just hope they have dropped em.
Thanks BowFreek, I have not found any fresh shed yet. There is one buck on camera that lost them but the rest have both sides still. Maybe by the end of Feb I will start looking hard.
Just got back from the walk. As for sheds I didnt find a single one. Not really dissapointed though, cause I was able to see 2 bucks still carring both sides. As for getting information on the piece of property, that went great. I was able to learn a lot about this property. I put out 2 trail cameras in some great areas. I hunted this place 3 times this past fall. It was my first chance to get out there and really walk this property. When these bucks start to shed it should be a great spot to pick up a bunch. Post some pictures in a bit.
Late to the party. But, newbie checking in! I'm going to get out this weekend for a little bit and scout some public property in my area. Great way for me to learn it for next season.
Well, I found J.R.'s sheds today!! I had a spot I thought they might be, and that little voice in my head told me to go! Love it. Here is a sneak peak...my little nephew loves big sheds too :D I'll post ATL, and better pics tomorrow!
