I think I'll be heading out today to look for some more sheds and maybe put out some grain by my trail camera. Hopefully I can find a few.

Well guys, I don't see me getting out to shed hunt for quite a while. 20-25" of snow buries a lot of things, and it's likely we'll have snow cover probably to april now.

I've been out twice since I found my first shed and haven't seen anything. This cold weather keeping all the snow here definately isn't helping.

All of our snow is gone, but in order to shed hunt... I'd have to shoot the antlers off the deer :D

The conditions for shed hunting in PA and Ohio haven't exactly been the most conducive to success.

Dammit Fran... I told you not to share that shed hunting tip from me !!!!! It is only for the hardcore shed hunter... not these wanna-bees.

By the way... the breast stroke is the proper way of looking for sheds. It really does work !! I wonder why I bother helping you when you still get it wrong !! ;p

    Tim

Ps I just hit 16 sheds today. From here on out... I don't plan on looking back as I leave you in the dust you slacker !! :)

Where do you put the sheds when you find them?

Gave it a go for a few hours yesterday. Some of our south hillsides are bare or mostly bare. I checked a few spots where the deer are heavily congregated but no luck for any sheds.

Here are three sheds I found this weekend...the two big ones make up the first matching set I have ever found!

Add one matching set and three sheds total!
