Well saw a spike and a 7pt chasing a doe. I've become a pro videographer of squirrels. FYI the squirrel rut is at its peak!

Well, the weatherman screwed me again. The temps have gone up 10 degrees from what they originally said when I switched my vacation

Rough day all around for team 6. I had two shooters inside 30 yrds today. One broke my heart, the other broke my muscles.

Nailed it Cls. Had a gorgeous 8 come in right by the script, EXACTLY how i have visualized a deer coming in to this new spot. I had gone over and over in my head how it would play out. There was two trees in front of me that i knew would block his view of me, and allow me to draw back, and that's what happened. I didn't however visualize him making a scrape at that very moment. I held my draw for roughly 1 min, and decided to let down.

As i was half way let off, he took a step. Ok, pull the string back again. He then stopped and played around with a licking branch for what seemed like eternity. After about 2 min my arms started shaking uncontrollably. He picked up his head and spotted me shaking. I knew it was all over.

I continued to hold my draw for as long as i could but my shaking got so bad he eventually spooked and ran up the hill. What a sinking feeling knowing the deer is looking right at you as your muscles give out, and there is nothing you can do.

The second buck came in on the trail at 18 yards. It WAS a perfect 10, and one on my hit list. As it got closer my heart sank into my gut, as i realized his g3 on his right, and his entire left main beam had been busted off.

Im having trouble uploading the video at the moment, but will share it when i figure it out.

M3..GREAT accomplishment getting 2 pigs in range. That is more than myself and most can say each year. Keep at it!

Monday or Tuesday I will kill a buck. Might not be my first one, but one will die on one of those days.

    Loving the new vacation forecast

I'd have loved to had cameras out today and tomorrow mornigs just to see what transpired. It lookednperfect to me this morning.

But instead of only having 2 days left before the weekend, I now have 2 fays left before another 10 days off.

It's like Groundhogs day, and I'm gonna kill the equivalent to Punxsutawney Phil before it ends

Well today had a 140-150" perfect 10 come through at 60yards and not a hair closer. Then saw 2 does this evening.
