As far as this team is concerned, you better hope that I score early next week in my vacation, cuz my expectations shift drastically the second half as I head back up north to northern WI and the UP of MI

    Good luck M3.

10 more hours of work until freedom......just let this last shift be uneventful and safe.

Tony, I just looked at the weather for your area. Looks to be perfect for your vacation. Winds and rain all week clearing and temps rapidly dropping from Thursday into Sunday. Friday and Saturday morning look great.

My best is a 120 buck and that was with a rifle. They just don't make deer like that here in NW GA.

I was scheming, making a plan. Knew if I played it right I could make it happen, piece of cake.

    Then I seen this:
    Thursday

Increasing clouds, with a high near 53. West wind 14 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph.

Realized a west wind unless I had no choice was the worst wind possible. Factor in the speed and gusts and it would be downright miserable. So it's better to suck it up and work that final day no matter how slow and tedious it may be waiting for 4:30 Thursday.

It's only October 27th with a full moon, plenty of time to let it happen, no reason to try and make it happen this soon and spoiling the rest of it.

I'll be working Thursday to say the least, probably could get it off, but why gove up the money on a wasted day.

Tonight was one of the weirder sits I've had in the stand. Had a basket rack run full blast and smash into a little sapling tree and then had a beaver run past my stand at 25yards. To bad I didn't have my camera tonight! I've never seen a beaver run out of a pond and go feed in a corn field then come back with a full corn cob.

I'm 50% through as far as work hours go, Thursday at 4:30 i get anal glacoma. Can't see my a$$ back there anytime soon.

I am excited about this weekend, I have a game plan, but it is forever changed by who else decides to hunt. Not many who do hunt, but there is a chance I get put on plan B 5 minutes before heading to stand.

I'm good with it, just changes things up with a quickness

Taking Oct 28 - Nov 13 off next year. Tried to put it in the system but won't let me until Jan. 1. No more choosing which week, I'll take them both

Giving them as much notice as possible

Took a 2 hour nap after working all night. Need to reset my internal clock to be up 2 hrs before sunup, not to be up from 4pm to 9am like my internal clock is wired right now.

    IT is time to kill.

Doesn't help with the time falling back Saturday night either.

Down to 13 hours 15 minutes of time at work, 27 hours 14 minutes until I'm living the high life.

Shot for a good long time with broadheads today. The bow is hitting true. It is all on me now. Day 1 at vacation begins at 0430 tomorrow.
