That is a serious pinch point. Looking to hunt that on a north to northwest wind?

    Way to go, Wack!

So I am on my longest stretch of work for the next 2 months ...the next 4 days ...then I am basically off 4 on 3 off 4 on 3 off 11...you get the picture? I could have killed deer on every sit except this mornings....

My finger will get itchier as we go, so stay tuned..

That's what I'm hoping for but the stand will be huntable on a lot of different winds! In thinking. The only one that will keep me from hunting it is a wind out of the West. And for a west wind I only have 2 stand choices so I try not to hunt when the winds straight out of the west.

No pressure man. I'm just trying to encourage. I'd probably make the same decision as you about holding that property for the right time.

    Saturday

Sunny. High 57F. Winds N at 5 to 10 mph.

    Saturday Night

Clear skies. Low 34F. Winds light and variable.

    Sunday

A mainly sunny sky. High 62F. Winds SSE at 10 to 15 mph.

I love snow, but have never hunted in the snow with a full canopy. Not sure it would open the woods up like it normally does. Snow hunts are always my most anticipated hunts of the year. Don't think I'll get one this year.

This weekend is going to go a long way in getting them leaves dropping fast. Would like to see a good freeze before my vacation starts
