Tough luck. It's getting harder and harder to give them time for me because of the yotes these days. Just for this reason.

So I get to the new cabin and property I bought this spring, and get a pic of a tresspasser, with two dogs riding in the back of the utv. Oddly enough, my card on my food plot is missing, and there are thousands of k9 prints that cover the plot. Not a good start to this neighbor to neighbor relationship I guess.

Congrats, man! You only get 1 doe for the contest, so no more points but you are having a hell of a season!

Congrats! 4 deer down before my season ever opens.

The deal with the bonus points is I believe the contest was/is more antler related so the doe is considered "bonus" points. Also a clause known as the fergie clause, if you shoot an antlered deer with small spikes that has to be tagged as such due to local regulations it will count as minimum 50 points. Just can't use a button buck for the antlered clause

This place I am hunting is tore up with deer ., it is a high dollar golf course and only 5 of us are hunting it . I am in the gated part of the property where the multi million dollar homes are and those folks want all deer gone .. They have these beautiful yards but everything is protected with fence so the deer can't eat it and it looks bad , tearing up their Benz's , BMW's hitting deer .. we have only been hunting it since last year and 4 of us killed 31 deer last year , we have killed 17 so far this year ..

dth, your killing services are needed on that golf course, the hunting is damn fun, and you are enjoying the meat. Win win win. hahaha.

Im taking my buddy out on opening day for an afternoon hunt. He just got into bowhunting last year at 37 years old and he killed a spike. He seems more prepared this season and learned a ton from last year. I scouted hard this off season so I am hoping things go right for one of us to be in position to arrow something.

    Bring on the season!

This weekemd is looking good as expected, unless something happens with work(which is quite possible as of now) Sunday will be my first sit of the season. Might try to hit public land Saturday evening just for gits and shiggles.

Next weekend is looking good temp wise, but thinking strong winds will be in play around here. May have to sit it out if it goes as expected.
