If you're still hunting, do what you can. We just need to hold on for ten more days! Tony, the Good Lord could take all those antlers early, if you know what I mean. Isn't there an "antler off" prayer in your bag of tricks?
My season is pretty much over now. We have 10 days to have the house finished, so it's going to be impossible to find time to hunt. Hopefully our slim lead is enough to keep this team together for next fall.

eight more days and counting..... I am postponing my trip to South Dakota this weekend. They're supposed to get one heck of a snow storm up there, and frankly, my truck seat cannot take anymore pucker marks! I'll use the weekend to accumulate a few comp days down the road.The season in SD closes Jan 31st. I will definitely get there one more time....I really want to arrow another deer with my longbow. Hunt if you can....I have faith!

I snuck out Saturday afternoon with my son for a couple hours, I didn't see any deer, he ended up having a "shooter" buck for him close but late season here is antlerless only. To say he wasn't happy would be an understatement. I think that was my last hunt, busy week at work and too much crap going on this weekend to get out. My season is officially over. Time to concentrate on culling some coyotes!
