Who's still at it out there?
I went to Wisconsin over the weekend. It's been a long time since I hunted in the snow. It was beautiful, and cold!
Saw some does at a distance, not much happening though with the gun pressure that just went on.

I still have a S. Dakota buck tag and a New Mexico desert muley tag. Plan on hunting SD this coming weekend and NM on Jan. 1st-3rd. I'm taking my daughter to Nebraska for a muzzleloader hunt on the 19th of Dec. It's all her that Sunday.

Love the picture Fred. Now that's coming face to face with nature!

I'm still at it. Didn't go out this weekend due to sinus problems but plan to go out this weekend. Will keep at it until I get a buck or Dec. 31 comes.

I'm going to try like heck to get a doe with my bow when I can find time to get out. I will probably do a little ML hunting over the holiday with some family.

I'm not convinced this thing is over, there are a couple teams within striking distance with lots of tags left. If we can somehow get a couple more down I would feel better. I know thats easier said than done at this point.

I can still kill 2 bucks, and as many does as my freezer can hold.

Time to hunt may be hard to come by, but I will be battling the cold if given the chance. Just knowing Flyer is out there still, gives me all the motivation I need.

Faith guys...have faith! Scott will kill Flyer, Isaiah will down a slammer, Aaron will whack a dandy, Clint will crank out a pig, and Matt will down a doe! Put the time in and be as professional as possible.

Hey Tony, didn't you have a killer recipe for making jerky? I know I tried a batch out of a recipe that I got off BH.com last year, but I can't seem to find where I put it at now.

If I get some free nights here soon, it's about that time to start getting those hind quarters turned into jerky:tu:

I was really looking forward to getting out this weekend but between the weather (wind) that is coming in and some family commitments it's not looking good.

PT, thanks for recipe, I've been using some packaged crap the last couple seasons that I don't really care for that much. This looks more up my alley. Hoping to get a new smoker for Christmas, if so this mix will be my first batch.

    Good luck out there guys.

I think Dave is talking to me... I'm the only one left with a doe tag!

I'll do what I can but the 30-40 mph winds and negative wind chills are keeping me inside this weekend.
