Went out this morning for the first time this year. Forgot my face mask, knives and my range finder battery was dead. Turns out I didn't even need my bow. Saw three does all about 120 yards away. This weekend should be promising though.

Grats Will! Nice deer! Great talking to you ...your report got me pumped on my Monday! Let me know if you dare to come to Texas and kill a couple-you know I'm in a 5 deer county...they'll count for the west too :)
I went out Sat. morning -had 22 bucks walk pass, Sun morning yielded 18 "targets"-not going to be hasty, I still got well into January :)
Anyway, hoot'in for TEAM 6-good luck boys!

Guys the rack is in my hands now. Got it late lastnight. BTW I had already posted the kill on the competition thread but had not entered the score. My parents are in their 70's so when medical issues pop up I am the one who has to help them out.

With work and driving from here to Washington Medical center which is a 3 hour trip one way leaves me no time for anything else. Anyways just a short explanation why it is taking me an extra few days to get the rack scored and posted. Do not worry gents, I will have it done soon.

Be safe and hunt hard !!!!

Congrats buddy!!! Gotta love them big Canadian big woods whitetails! Seeing many hunters? My brothers killed a few good ones the last week up there at camp.

I have 3 and 1/2 days to hunt now before the gun season.

My all day hunt Sunday, turned into a morning only hunt as we are going to start siding the parents new house. It's dawn until noon for that day.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, and Wednesday it's dark to dark.

I'd be lying if I didn't say I wasn't feeling a little pressure to put some bone down on the ground.
