No hunting for me last night. Had to work a little later than usual, so a group of us went to a local archery shop and got some practice shooting at their dart video screen

Tommorow is a holiday here in Nebraska, the TX vs. NU game. I'll be in the stand Sunday morning hoping to get on the board. My dad has been seeing a "nice buck" regularly when checking cattle, usually his "nice" is an OMG to me. Just a matter of being in the right tree at the right time. Good luck tomorrow PT! Pretty windy here, steady fifteen gust to 25. Think I am gonna use the wind noise to cover my movement and push deep into the swamp., Hopefully theres an old buck moving through there to access the acorn crop. Heading out in 30 minutes or so, goodluck guys and be safe. Dave

LoL Will. I was stationed in north Dakota for 8 years while I was in the Air Force. Trust me I know how hard the wind can blow in those plains states. Saw nada tonight, guess I will hit the woods again tomm. morning. PT I fully expect a text by 0800 saying you tagged a deer)))))) Dave

Oh please Deer god give me a shot at this guy. He is going on my hit list for sure. Pulled camera card today from a camera I had set out, batteries died a day later but this guy showed up. This is a good deer for my area. Have'nt hunted this small area yet but I am pretty sure I will be setup there this afternoon)))) Dave
no deer last night, had three raccoons come out all walking together at about 1845 sounded like a deer but alas nada! hunt hard my friends

ok...reality check ... didn't see squat till 6:15 tonight and that was 6 deer ... but nothing even close ... I am shocked as I had really anticipated at least some sightings in the morning ... Hey Reese, you get any grouse?
