So anything going on, Teamies??? I am almost positive that I will be able to hunt with my brother on one kick butt piece of land this year So I went from one place to hunt to 3 ... not a bad off season :D
Season doesn't start here until the 29th of September. Today me and my buddy went to a new piece of property to map it out. Looks pretty promising depending on what kind of wind direction situation we are presented with. Hit the range today and shooting pretty good group up to 4 yards. Not sure I would take a 40 yard shot if I was presented with it. It is still super warm in Northwest Ohio and we have gotten no rain. I am definitely looking forward to some rain if we get any and I cannot wait for it to get colder out I cannot stand this hot weather. Other than that I am just praising my Savior and thanking God that I live in this amazing country. Good luck to you all who are able to hunt this early in the year! Stands are ready to go in Ohio. Didn't have time to set any cams some friends have had cams out and there's a few 150s around. One is a big nine point that i have history with i've passed and filmed him under one of my stand for the past two years. He won't be that lucky this year if stops by for a visit.
That 9 sounds like he will fit the bill rather nicely ... wishing I was hunting Illinois this year instead of next .... priorities tho ... I should be good for 130+ total points this year ...
