Of course its going to be Mid 80's to 90 all weekend and i'm sure i'll come home with poison oak i always do.

I have been MIA for a few days at the cabin prepping for bear season that opens tomorrow and doing some fly fishing. No cell/ internet at the cabin so I had to run to town to get some work done. Avatars look awesome! Thanks for putting those together, Tony. Checked cams up here yesterday, a few regular does and a small 4 point. My goal for NH is at least a doe until I learn more about hunting big woods. Deer here tend to stay up in the mountains until the snow starts to fall but the cabin is located in a valley that should be ideal as the season progresses. I really just hope to put meat in the freezer in NH and to also put a bear down. Deer season opens the 15th, but I'm crazy pumped to sit for the next few days at the bear site.

My good buck prospects are dependent still on getting permission to hunt in MA and a successful trip to KS.

I'll check in again next week once I am back in civilization.

Well my plans changed again. I won't be hunting Kentucky now. I had to choose between there and Illinois.I got a piece of private ground to hunt in Illinois so I am gonna do that. I can't pass up having this kind of place to hunt in Illinois.
