With Pat's buck right around 130s we should be right around 230 total points...not bad through the first week of October.

I think the red dot is very close to your stand. Im not sure where you can or cant walk or exactly where the property lines are. The yellow path is your best bet for a morning hunt...if that's not an option, the green would be a good approach also...if that's not an option, than the blue would be my rout in, my exit would be right out through the field. I suspect that the white line I drew is the property line on that side.

Personally, I wouldn't hunt mornings right now unless your after a doe.

Not sure how you fill about hunting property lines but this is an awesome (rut!?!?) funnel...hard field edge (blue) with topo edge (red) in the mix. This is a map of the edges and what wind to set up with.

Decided to sleep in this morning. Although I still woke up around 7-730 ha, seems to be that way on weekends never when haveta work though. Been calling for rain but haven't got much yet and its supossed to clear out by this afternoon. Probably head out and sit in groundblind. Tomorrow be heading back into stand shot doe in and hopefully with cool weather it'll get the bucks moving. Trying to be pretty cautious with that stand so don't burn it out but with crops still in my other stands aren't worth sitting yet. Good luck guys.

    Agreed, looks good Jeff.

Just made it out, sitting in blind tonight since its raining off and on. See what happens. Had to chase some wasp out first thing so that was fun.
