    I plan on welcoming in Indiana's Urban Deer season on Sunday morning. Looks like the weather will cool down and hopefully that will have the deer on their feet.

    Good luck everybody. Not much to report her. Still 20ish days to go, trying to get in a little better shape for season. Bucks are all splitting up, all hard horned. I'll be checking cams this week for the last time preseason, maybe I'll have some new guys on cam

    October 1st can't get here any faster men. Well I went to check my cameras and I haven't had any pics since bacc around march an april which sucks I'm think about moving it next weekend as the deer are taking some different routes during the summer. Can't wait for the magic to begin here in oklahoma when that first frost hits its gonna get crazy I know for sure the primary area I'm hunting only holds a few bucks but I know they're there got plenty of sign so I'm confident. I placed my cameras based on last years movement but nobody's showed up for there photo shoot but I'm not letting up. Good luck to all my teamates that are already in the woods. Its time to put some scores up fellas.

    Finally got some bucks on camera. Let me know what you think.

    Stumpy - Pretty sure I know this buck from last year. Have video of him on Halloween morning right under my stand.

    I believe this is a buck I call Tank. He is/was a huge body 8 pointer. When I started watching him, he was 5 1/2 years old (or at least I think he was) so he would be 7 1/2 now. Not sure if he's injured or on the way down.

    Okie - I'm liking that wide buck.

    As for Stumpy, he's off limits in PA as we have a 3 up (off the main beam) in my area of PA.

    So I'm looking for Tank, but wouldn't kick Big Daddy to curb if I see him. : )

    Some more dandy bucks. This season should be fun for everyone chasing after their respective bucks.

    I got all of my clothes washed last night in preparation for Sunday. I need to get my harness out and check it, but for the most part I'm good to go. Looks like the weather around here this weekend will be perfect for an early season hunt.

    Yup. I lucked into the spot. My wife's cousin married a guy who owns/lives on ten acres property near the Hamilton/Boone County line that just happens to be in the Indy UDZ. I saw a good number of deer signs there last year, so I'm hoping I might catch something moving through on Sunday morning. There is a small creek that passes through the property and I know there are a couple of spots where the deer cross the creek.

    The only bad thing, there are tons of coyotes in the area.
