We did find him later that winter. Had 2 broken legs from being hit by a car. What a shame.

    Pat - nice bucks

So the pictures with the light in the background, what is at the base? Looks like a guy with a rifle sitting on a tractor. I'm thinking that's one helluva spotlighting system. haha

    Very nice deer pat!
Pops, that giant 6 is exactly why I oppose antler restrictions. I would absolutely love to take that deer

Pops that 6 is the buck of my dreams! That and a big huge droptine (I got one with a droplet as I call it, all of one inch)

Jeffrey, the bucks we're after a highly pressured so while we got them running around, it is a whole nother thing come season trying to get on them...I'll be doing what I can though!!!

Pat, you don't have a buck problem, you have a my standards are so :dan: high problem! :D Love ya brother, and I can appreciate and am jealous you have the luxury of being so picky!

OKCaveman - I agree to a point. We have seen PA turn into a state with mature bucks (where it used to be a lot of 1 1/2 spikes and forks being harvested every year). Where it is flawed is a buck like this. He was old and should have been on the list but then every guy would shoot the first buck they see and say 'he was old enough' so I do get it.

Pat - great bucks and setup.

Ty - Then you are going to love this buck.

Had him facing me twice within 30 yards and never turned to give me a shot. Unfortunately, he was harvested that year in our late muzzleloader season. Guy who shot him borrowed a gun, bought a license and went out for about 30 minutes. Was pushed by on a drive. Kills me to this day.

I mean congrats to the guy cuz that is an awesome buck but that my friend is not the style a buck like that deserves to go down by....for a second right at the beginning I thought I was looking at a Massive 6 point frame with a HUGE drop and I almost shot the screen!

I agree. Congrats to him but funny thing is, he could care less. I've talked to his brother-in-law who has the mount in his house. But hey, this game is luck sometimes and good for him.

He was a 14 point. Had a drop on each side, plus two longer kickers off the left G2. He also had 5" & 7" daggers coming up out of each base (he broke both of those off by the time he was shot).
