I was scrolling through them and was thinking there was no way you fit my entire username on there.

    I don't mind at all.

I'll give you guys a run down of what I'll be chasing this year. I will be going in more detail with a hitlist video for Small Acre but this will introduce you to a lot of them briefly.

First, the Homestead Property (small acreage but has treated us nice over the years)

Hobble, is the first one that will get an arrow if he comes by. He's at minimum a 4 1/2 year old but we suspect he was a 1 1/2 when we first got pictures of him which would put him at 5 1/2 this season. His back left leg is nothing more than a stabilizer, but he still pushes does and makes an appearance it seems each year albeit rarely. The history, story and maturity of him makes him worth harvesting...not to mention the caliber of deer at the Homestead Property isn't quite like the Swamp Property. The following picture is a picture of him taken last year on a day he pushed does around the food plot for hours.

Next up is a buck which recently started showing himself, and I have a hunch may be the buck from the second picture taken in 2012. Either way, he appears mature enough for an arrow at our standards at the Homestead and I can't wait to see how wide he is as we lack a frontal shot of him. Good body on him though!!
We now head to the swamp property where we have 3 bucks whom all proved they lived through last year's hunting seasons but have been quiet so far this summer...hoping the next three guys start showing up: each photo has explanation/description above them. The first one is of RD, the HUGE 8 that consumed my hunting last year, killable on 5 occasions under 100 yards from me...simply chose another path out of his bedding on those nights.
    Early 2012 Velvet of him:
Late Season shot of him last year:

Completely after all hunting shot of him:
Next up is Houdini...I'll be honest this dude is a stud, huge body, first true 10 point frame I've been after and hope he comes back this season!
The next few are of him with the last three having RD in it as well (they fought a little):

Next up is AWD (All Wheel Drive), I was 20 yards from him on the ground in a ground blind one morning but it was well before legal light, trail camera pic to prove it. He's got split brows and freaking awesome frame with junk...never did get wide though.
The following buck has some characteristics like AWD, but I am nearly 100% it isn't him, but I believe it is offspring of his. No splits forming on the brows and seems just a little less developed...either way he's more than likely worthy of an arrow come this fall, he has made his presence known this year in 2013 and I feel is most definitely right now the most killable:

This is a wide buck we got on cam this year...who knows what he's become since this photo...depending on what he is I have always wanted a big 6:

That's it for now fellas...if this year is like year's past, I guarantee my next pull will hold some more or at minimum some 2013 shots of RD, AWD and Houdini hopefully all three!

Thanks, I'll be sure to share the link once the hitlist video is compiled, edited and uploaded here in the coming weeks, probably next week sometime. I did last year and will again this year be doing a ton of all day sits at the swamp property for those studs (relative term for my area of course)...the Homestead isn't really buck hunted till gun season hits, then I focus on it some due to losing swamp to the owner till gun closes or he tags out. I'll be honest though if Hobble walked by me in early October on a rare early season Homestead hunt I would be very hard pressed not to shoot him.

I will do my best to not let the team down with either of those. Although I don't think we will have a difficult time keeping our team engaged throughout the season. At quick glance there aren't many teams with the number of pages of activity so far in their respective team threads. I think we will be just as productive in scoring points!!

Kind of hard to have a hit list when you don't have any bucks on camera, but I do know this guy made it through last season.

    I call him Sixer.

I put out a trail camera behind my grandma's house at the beginning of 2012. I dumped out some corn and he was the first buck to show up...

Last year he didn't show up all summer, until I got a picture of him in late September...

I had a number of nighttime pictures of him, but only once during the day and he was less than twenty yards from my stand. Unfortunately I was in Indy that day taking the hunter education class with my brother (I had already taken it years ago, but told him I'd go with him so he'd be able to get a hunting license). I make sure to let him know about that from time to time.

He's not a monster, but I love his symmetry. I have yet to see him this summer, but I'm hoping he'll show up again soon. I know he made it through last year as I have some pics of him, with a broken tine, after the season was over. I also know that he most likely beds somewhere north of my grandma's as I had some pictures of him heading south just after dark and heading back north before daylight. I'm guessing he is probably close to five years old. I guessed him to be three in the first pictures I had and I figured him to be four years old last season.

I'm really curious as to why he doesn't have brow tines. I have yet to get another deer on camera in that spot that shows the same trait.

Ask anyone that knows me, I want a massive 6 some day...although I pictured mine being one with brows but only a G2 and tips on each beam...that dude would be even more unique. I'll be planting our very last couple plots tomorrow at the swamp property and will pull chips and mount 3 new cameras there as well....my late September card pull should be exciting for sure!

Slowly building our collection of trail cameras has lead to more history with all the homestead bucks. That and I'm known to do well over a dozen all day sits a year and up till last year I really only had the Homestead Property. Swamp Property is fast proving it has the best potential but I'll be honest the Homestead Property has been very good to me over the years considering my parents only own about 9 acres and I have access to about 12 acres worth of all the micro neighboring properties:

Starting at the top left and working down and around, ending with the center one is all the bucks I've taken from the Homestead (2004 oops buck, 2009 2 hour first day of season buck, 2008, 2010, 2012 and center was my very first bow kill/buck kill 2002) ...people laugh when I state all of them came from 9 acres...but it's true and except for the top right one they all were harvested from the exact same stand location.
