Great morning so far. My #2 target stepped out onto the edge of the field... but 80 yards away and wandered away across the field. I grunted at him but he was not interested.
I've seen 15 deer so far (6 non- shooters within range), mostly does, and little bucks. At about 8 a.m., I saw a random dog to my south running the edge of the field, and about 10 minutes later, that same #2 buck came charging through just beneath me. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get him stopped before he excited my shooting lane. I was drawn and ready to fire, but alas, no opportunity.
Another 7 hours to go and another 2-3 before I decide to stay here or go set up 150 yards to my north.

Brother tagged one on Halloween and I drew on a nice heavy 8 yesterday but no good shot sadly. Been on stand for 8 hrs of an all day sit so far and saw 4 different bucks but small. Good luck guys

Action is heating up! Sounds like some exciting hints guys! I worked last night and again tonight. I get off tomorrow at 8 am and don’t work till Monday 8am. I will be getting some tree time in! To rub some dirt in the wound for having to work last night, I saw this guy while moving train cars…. [IMG]

Also want to give a shout out to Tight Spot. I’ve had my quiver for close to 10 years and it broke. Sent it to them and they fixed it and returned it to me in less than a week for free. They really stand behind their products. Doubt I ever buy any other quiver!

That’s a nice buck @soccerdan90 was a nonproductive day today. Had one scoot by perfect at 20 and could barely see horns. Decided to wrap it up at 11, climb down and here comes 4 does. I sat down on ground and they walked right in front of me and stood there for almost 20 minutes trying to figure me out. I didn’t want to bust them out of there but I had to.

Update, 20 deer so far, but nothing I've wanted to shoot that I've had an opportunity on. Had two button bucks and three does walk by me between 2:30 & 3 to give the afternoon some excitement. Nothing since then, but the excitement is building for the close of the day! Good luck to anyone who's getting after it.

Yes he is. Unfortunately my work doesn’t allow hunting on their 2000 acres….

    Very nice! Congrats.
I was hoping to join you with a shot fired, but it wasn't to be today. My final tally was 28 deer seen, 10 within range, and 1 shooter seen twice. Once at 80 yards and the other time charging through my shooting lane being chased by a dog.
I should be out again Sunday morning.

I’ll be out tomorrow afternoon and most of Saturday and Sunday. Things could happen! My friend saw a giant a mile from his house tonight. Hoping he makes his way east!

Several opportunities for shots on does. Lots of small bucks but nothing big has shown yet.
