No go gents. The animal I was after didn't show. Instead a doe with her button buck did. They both literally walked directly underneath me. I elected to pass even though I had bow in hand and was EXTREMELY tempted. This particular property is buck only. Any other day.. and I wouldv'e had to try. Word.
I am after a nanny this week. I am filming for Rob on Monday(I think)...And then on Wednesday I will have the 101 in hand. I only saw a 4 point on today's PA Opener. Still gets my blood pumping when I first see and thing "Deer!!!"

Congrats Jaws! Great lady. I had like 15 different whitetail in range this past weekend.. and I didn't draw the bow on one of them. I've always been patient. It's a long season.
Saw 12 last night. One of which was a piebald. Closest they came was 80 yards. Got some cool vid and pics with Rob. Unfortunately the piebald was after camera light, she stuck out like a sore thumb. Haven't seen her up to this point, it was rather exciting. Filming for Rob tonight, buck or bust. Peace brothers.
aight buddy. I be back at it tomorrow. Passed a nanny tonight. just didn't feel right. Will be waiting for that score bud. Way to go.
Getting ready to head down to HNI's twildasin's place tomorrow with Rob. It's primarily a nanny run, but he does have some bruisers running around too. Everything is fair game. We both applied and got 5B tags for the does. Should be a fun weekend. Matt and Frank are gonna be around too.

Ya baby. Nice buck Jaws. I need to step it up. It's B Day/ Halloween (30th/31st) for me, I love this week in the woods. I would like something other than a western oriented wind for this week though.

Just busting ya rocks pal. I am hunting every night here. Had two bruisers and a smallish 8 doggin some does last night, nothing tonight. Had the blood pumping almost as fast as the wind was blowing. Good hunting gents.
