LOL!! Now theres a winning team name! Sry I havent been arnd much but work has been nuts and when I'm not here I'm out shooting and scouting! Scouted out 3 properties this past weekend and moved and rehung 5 different sets. Looks like it's gona be a good year boys!!! I cant wait for OCT4th!!! PA here we come!
YES SIR!!! Couldn't agree more buddy. I am all ready to go. I just got my matching Max 4 Octane Accs for my 101 and that has me all pumped up. I am planning on getting another really good shooting session in on Thurs with Rob to prove that last week's game of BUCK was no fluke.:d

Love the name guys. My season has begun.. although the Ike'ster has slowed it down a bit with rain for nearly 48 hours straight. It blows.
Well Ben.. its been fun so far. I really wasn't into still til last night. Had THE biggest bodied 2.5 yr old I've ever seen walking around me for 25 minutes.. only like 105" rack.. but I bet he pushed 200+ lbs on the hoof. He eventually bumped a doe out of a thicket and I was so surprised when she ran in and stopped at 18 yards in fron of me. I drew.. and I rushed a chip shot and shot right over her back. The story gets longer but you get the idea. All I could do was laugh at myself. I was just sooo surprised that I just never took my time. She ducked a good 2".. but my shot placement was still high.. dead on left to right but a clean miss for sure. It's okay though.. it will calm me for the rest of the season. Now.. I'm chomping at the bit and totally in love with hunting again. Man.. I love to sit in a tree!:d
Hey thanks Jeff. You don't know just how happy I've been since the miss. I feel alive again towards bowhunting and can't wait til tomorrow night (Friday) when I'm back in stand hunting public land whitetai trying to earn that buck tag. I got about 2 weeks left before I'm back in Illinois. This may sound strange to some.. but I'm so glad I missed her.
That's the most important thing bud. Good luck with the EAB. Again, I am totally envious. Keep me posted as I will be living vicariously through you for another two plus weeks.

Well guys I did it good this weekend...long story short, I'm in an aircast for 4weeks or so or untill I rip the damn thing off!!! Looks like the first 2 weeks of season I'll be hunting from the ground....oh well

Ben the foot is healing. Looks like I wont be able to use a climber till the middle to late october but thats ok.... we have plenty of ladder stands that I "should" be able to get into. Cant wait the season starts saturday boys!!!! Good luck to all
