I've been sidelined with a cold with a cough, still have this coming week before gun season starts the 22nd. Then we have a long late season for me to put down a doe.

Big day today, twin grandsons play state championship 8 man football this afternoon. Kinda a David against Goliat matchup. Town my grandsons attend is like 400 population. Private school they play has population of 15,000. They played them earlier in season and won 30-12 so hopefully my grandson's team can beat them again.

Almost got a shot at one of my shooters at 10 am. Came in too fast could not stop him in the lane on that side. Of course the side I did not expect deer to come through. Stoped at 10 yards behind a big pine tree fkr a moment the trotted off as fast as he came. Never knew I was there
