    My Ohio trip has kind of stunk. I'll fill you in on more details later. Been hunting real hard. I think I just smashed a doe though so that's good news. Got here Friday morning. This is my last day. Leaving tomorrow morning.

    Awesome! Our friends just got back from pike county Illinois. They said movement was slow. A few of them killed decent bucks.

    Having returned from many deployments myself and also having three daughters, I can say that I’m sure spending time with your girls will mean so much more than any deer kill you rack up.

    Enjoy this time young brother. You’ve earned it.

    Thanks! It’s definitely the 1st hunt of the year. Couldn’t find a bow hanger or my grunt tube lol. Hopefully the treestand has a hanger on it. I can’t remember if we put one out.
