I'm goin on a guided bear hunt next year in Maine with my bow. I know I mentioned that earlier, I bet @dmen has shot a couple bears since he is from Maine. I went to Virginia on a bear hunt about 8 years ago and only seen a cub. Always wanted to go to Canada or Maine and finally making it happen next year with my 2 uncles and 2 cousins. Should be a good time.
I don’t hunt them. Don’t really have a desire since I don’t care for the meat all that much. Was checking out my paid time off for the rest of the year… I have roughly 2 weeks of time off to use between now and the end of the year. Wish we had fewer bears here. Really damage corn fields and forget about apples trees by food plots, they destroy them. I shot a few, they don't get me excited and don't care for bear meat. Takes 8 years of applying to get a tag in my area. If they had big antlers I'd hunt them lol. They like my mock scrapes.
