I just started with the saddle this year. I bought the tethered phantom, predator xl platform and xop x2 sticks. Hated it at first so I bought a light hang on for mobile hunting and was going to sell the saddle. Going to keep it now,
Well I got all moved in this weekend to our new house! Still got a lot of stuff to do but was able to get the wall done that I wanted to put all my mounts on. Haven't started hanging the mounts cause I haven't decided how I want to mount them all which I won't be able to fit all the turkeys on there. lol I'm hoping to get out tomorrow or Thursday to fill one of my doe tags.

Well guys, my year is done with no deer to show for it. You got me on a bad year, next year I will be back in Kansas and putting deer on the ground will not be a problem.

Well got most of my mounts on the walls. I left room for last year’s buck that I should be getting back this month. Trying to keep that one wall mainly for whitetails. The full range double bracket system is awesome. Definitely can get a lot more deer on a wall with that. Have a couple more ordered cause they are having a sale. Bow season here doesn't open back up until Monday. Will be back out. It's looking worse and worse here though, lot of dead deer from EHD and Iowa harvest numbers are way down. I am hoping I get a shot at these two bigger bucks running around, but it's going to be a tough call to want to shoot a doe seeing the numbers reported. Our season closes 12/31/2024. I might get out next week while it's warm. I've went ice fishing a few times when I probably should have been in a tree with my free time.
