A 120s 8 came out dogging a doe, fork horn and 3 does. Good sit, will be back out tomorrow Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
90% sure this is the buck I saw tonight. I didn’t see the junk, just beams. I was supposed to go watch the Vikings game tomorrow… might go get in a tree. Light winds and light rain predicted for the afternoon. He’s been in there fighting a smaller buck for 30+ minutes.
He showed up on the other side of the property. Bunch of new big rubs and scrapes. Going to hunt that side this evening. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Hoping too! Gonna focus on him for the next week, but its hard to target a certain buck when rut is about to start. lol
Had a eventful evening. 13 does and i thought was the tall browtine buck but it wasn’t. He came in grunting and pushing the does. Nice buck but not what I am after. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Josh are you going to get that hog posted in the scoring thread that will be the best looking 50pts on the board.
Been taking a little breather from hunting until this evening. Been so warm, going to get back at it more regularly. Our rifle season opens next Saturday so I am running out of time with having the woods to myself. There are plenty of spots I can still hunt where there is no firearm hunting allowed. The rut traditionally doesn’t really heat up here until the 3rd week of November.
Steady rain hit at 4pm and I opted to sit out today and watch the Vikings lose. Back at it tomorrow afternoon. Almost time for morning sits. Really wish the farmer would get the corn off. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Went out last evening and saw nothing. Was windy and had gravel trucks and backhoe about 3/4 mile away were making a racket. Might be the reason for the bad evening hunt. Wanted to go out this morning but there was a heavy drizzle out. Be out this evening. Justin that brow tine buck is really something! Good luck to all you guys' hunting.
