Really slow here with the warm temps. Went last evening and saw nothing. 1st evening I've sat without seeing deer. Bucks are really moving around. Buck I wounded was at three different mock scrapes. Two are half mile apart another one is a mile away. He was even at food plot where he was hit.
Cameras have been slower the past couple days. New buck showed up last night. Neighboring property decided to drive his truck all through the woods and hang a stand close by the property line which my stand is close by the line but they have never had a stand by me. I’m going to go move one of my stands at 4pm. Not hunting today supposed to be close to 70. It’s was 29 this morning and nothing was moving in the area I was at.

Got the stand moved, I have a lot more shooting range now for bow and gun. We had to take I small tree down to get to the tree I needed. I’ll give that area a rest for the week and maybe give it a go next Monday depending on the wind.
Forgot to mention I go out in the morning to the stand I got the doe depending how late I stay up rooting for the Mets.
Just picked up 80 acres that butts up to the property I hunt already. Might slip in there this weekend, ordered a climber today. Should be here Thursday. Pretty excited about this property. Never thought I would get permission but the guy was super nice and can only bowhunt it.
I got the summit open shot. Had the closed shot one a couple years ago but sold to a friend that really wanted it. Will be kind of a learning curve, cause I have never used one without a bar to sit on. Did a bunch of research before buying it.
I’m bummed about not being able to hunt this weekend. My niece is getting married. They should have planned it for September. We leave Friday morning and come home Sunday sometime. I’ll try to get out a few mornings before we go.

I hear you my daughters birthday is November 4th. She’s older now so we celebrate later in the evening.
