Have my rain gear out for the morning. I’ll be on the edge of a bedding area on my favorite property. That spot is usually good for a deer a year. I’ve never hunted it on an east wind. This will be my first sit of the year there, I feel pretty confident I’ll see some deer. I have not killed a buck in a few years with my bow so I won’t be to fussy if something comes by 6pt minimum. I did get to my spot this morning a little before 8. I would have updated but I accidentally left my phone in the truck. Saw 8 doe this morning no shots but I don’t think I would have if they offered me one. I only hunted until 1030 since I left the phone in the truck I was worried nobody would be able to get ahold of me so I left and of course when I got to the truck there were no messages. Pulled a chip while I was there over 900 pics since July that got me excited. Came home and checked them I’d say 400 were of animals the rest junk. Not one good buck but lots of does so the bucks will get there eventually. The evening hunt I went to the same spot I got the doe. 3 small does tonight. It’s pouring here now, not sure if I’ll get up in the morning to go. Going to watch the Mets tonight. Here are a few pics from the cam. No deer worth posting.

Ya it was bad. I went to bed. I wouldn’t be like them to come out and take game 1 they seem to like to play from behind. Definitely don’t want to go down 2 games though. On my way to pick up my meat from the doe at the butcher. Things add up quickly when you get specialty items made up.

For the team members who don't know, I shot a doe yesterday evening! Probably seen 8 or 9 does, a spike and a 100 inch buck. Just posted it in the scorecard thread! Wanted to go back out tonight but probably won't be able to. Hopefully tomorrow evening I can back out, bucks are on the move. Had a decent buck on camera this morning heading right towards my stand.
It was cold this morning, 30 degrees. I had to take my daughter to the train station to go back to college after the long weekend. Planning on being out this afternoon
