You’re carrying the team Ash, no worries. Was a crisp 49 this morning in OH. I need to be in a tree.

I'll be out this evening, bucks were moving last night with the temperature drop. No shooters showed up on camera tho. Got a good NW wind today for one of my favorite stands where I shot my big buck last year.

I am heading out myself in a bit. Deer are already moving at my house at 1 pm. Going to a new spot, put up a ladder stand there yesterday, have to go in and secure it better before I can hunt out of it.

This is my first hunt ever in this spot. It’s in an industrial area and a small air port. I just put a ladder stand in yesterday. I did it alone so I didn’t use the last ladder section, I am probably 12 ft off the ground. I miss my lone wolf alpha hang on and sticks. I need to look into the tree saddle, I know absolutely nothing about it.

I’m up in the stand, checked a couple cameras on the way in. This guy was in here this morning. Hopefully i can get a better look at him this evening! Good luck @dmen IMG_1923.JPG

I am buying another mobile set up. I foolishly sold my lone wolf set up. Might try xop, I have a summit climber, but I want something I can use in any tree

I got about a hour and 20 minutes left. Hoping for some action the last hour!

I’ve been looking for the past 2 years also. I have the summit climber also. The thing that keeps me from getting something is the 300lb limit on stuff. I’m 240ish so it doesn't leave a lot of leeway. Guess I could lose some weight but that’s probably not going to happen anytime soon.

Sorry for the late reply. Had a good sit. It almost happened. Had 4 does come out then a 100 inch 8 point then right about 10 minutes of light left the buck in the picture i just posted came out and started fighting the 8 point. Never got close enough for a shot but was a good sit! Gonna go back to that stand tomorrow evening. Got the same wind and about the same temperature so we will see!

I’m still on the sidelines guys. I’m hoping to be able to get in a tree sometime this week.

Mother in law has another brain biopsy tomorrow morning. She was doing much better today but is still very weak/confused about a lot of things. The brain is a crazy thing. Inflammation causing this much havoc is crazy.

    Knock down some deer boys!

I'll be back out this evening, my cameras had a lot of movement this morning but no big bucks. Have a bad coyote problem which is weird cause i trap this property every year but seems like there is more than ever. Trapping season starts Oct. 15th so might set a few traps. Still hoping for this guy to show up
