Decided to hunt after work today. Does are on the menu tonight, iffy wind for the stand I want to sit in tonight but we will see what happens. Its the only part of the property I don't have cameras on so don't really know what to expect. Good luck to anyone going out today/this weekend!
Life just piles it on sometimes. Girlfriend’s grandpa passed last Thursday and now her mom has been in the hospital since Monday. She has inflammation on her brain causing her to have stroke like symptoms. The Mayo Clinic diagnosed her earlier this summer but she had another flare up on Monday. She could finally remember her name, DOB, and tell us where she was at today. Been taking care of their commercial chicken barn (40,000 chickens) after work. Got out 2 days ago but it’s been hard to find time to hunt. Maybe god will bless me with a large deer the next time I can get out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Getting ready to head out this morning for my first sit of the year. Only a couple stone throws down the road from my house.
I believe we have our first points. Looks like AshD has a doe down.. our general archery starts today. Getting ready to head out. I was going thru some tubs of camo I have, found a couple sets of brand new Scrnt lok in the package I had no idea I had.
Going to try to get the yard mowed, watch the early football game at 1pm then be in the stand for the evening. Might get there sooner since the Dolphins suck this year.

Just got settled in. Walked in with sunglasses and t shirt on. 15mph swirling wind but i think I can live with. Sitting 20yds in from a field edge. I never came to freshen up this spot this year my bow rope broke and is about 15ft up in a tree next to me 6ft away. I still have a good feeling I’ll get eyes on something tonight.
Should have went out this morning but I felt like I got up a little to late then would have to rush. Taking care of some stuff around the house instead. May go sight in a rifle in a few hours.
