Well I managed to get in a hunt in Wyoming while making an unexpected trip there for a funeral service. I hunted a couple of days with my son and the birds came off the roost twice and went the wrong direction. One group had been coming to the same field for two weeks and decided that day to go the other way. I did manage to get a shot at a really nice tom on a spot and stalk hunt but just took feathers off of him. We had a great couple of days but couldn't put a group on the ground. I feel better about getting a chance to hunt at least. Have a great summer everyone.
