Wow pretty lucky to find your keys. Luckily these were only my keys to the security box/python locks for my trail cameras. I’m going to hold off on shooting a doe till later in the year if I can help it. The last couple years I have shot one on opening weekend and my buck hunting suffered. Glad to hear it's not to bad for you this morning! Yeah it's a nice deer for sure! The past few mornings have been nice and cool, right around 50 degrees. It's really getting the fire lit for me! I think I'll shoot the bow a bit today and convert my jeep from concert/tailgating season to hunting season.
Well, instead of shooting the bow and getting ready for the season, My wife and I had THE talk. Looks like our 15th year of marriage will be our last. Unfortunately, it has been a long time coming; we both knew it. We tried, but no matter how hard you force it, oil and vinegar just do not mix. I'll be moving out in the next month or so. I don't want the house and can't afford it without working full time. I will move back to RI and get my licensure in RI as well. The thought of moving into a small ass apartment sucks and is depressing as hell. Hopefully, I can find myself again and find happiness though, whatever that is? Not sure if I have ever been happy in life. If I was, I didn't know it at the time. Everything happens for a reason, we both know this is for the best. I'm sitting here now on the couch with my two babies (2 beagles) and they are the only thing I'm going to miss. At least my favorite time of the year is here, and I can cleanse my heart and soul in the woods. I'm gonna have to use the devil bow this year because I doubt I'll be able to find an apartment with a backyard where I can shoot my bow.

Sorry to hear that, Joe. But, thankfully you both realize it and it sounds like it'll be a mutual departing with no major headaches (I hope). You're soon to be opening a whole new chapter in life with your degree - you'll find yourself and that missing happiness.

Also going to the bow shop today to pick up a bear bow. Don't know which one yet but I just bought a v3x but somethings popped up financially and had to fix my boiler before fall so I sold it. So hoping to only spend around $500 fully set up. I was wanting the bear whitetail legend but he doesn't think he has any in stock. So we will see.
Ran out to the lease and hung a few cameras today. Pulled a few. Nothing like looking at videos from 10 months ago. Batteries lasted until June 3. Those ultimate lithium’s hold up great. I ended up going up with Bear Whitetail Legend. Its smooth and ready to hunt package for $450 I couldn’t beat it. Hopefully next spring I’ll get back to spending over $1,000 on a bow like I usually do but other things are more important and need done that takes all my money lol.
