Well, that score put us in 2nd. We'll be knocking on first, once the episode is released. I think I'll go to my stand tomorrow. I have some things I want to get done today since it's nice out (today and tomorrow are near 70). If not - I'll be going out Friday next.
I went out last night, I wasn't planning on it. So at 545 I ran out back. Got up in the stand and not even five minutes there was a buck. He ran out of woods about 30 yards then mosey-d his way down the far edge. He stopped about 90 yards out then went in the woods. If I were in my other tree stand, he very well may have gone to that. I want to get some things done today, that I didn't do yesterday. Then we will see what the end of the week brings. ....and sorry all - I chat too much on here when I'm at work, lol
Thats when I'm on here the most. lol I have a desk job and when its slow I get on here a lot. Plan is to get out Thursday evening after work. Might try to rattle, bucks are feeling each other out. Saw two bucks going at pretty good the other day. Hoping to get another chance at my target buck.

Kristen you see Elite released their flagship bow today? I know you shoot Elite and just didn't know if you have seen it. I always like to look at the new bows that are released each year from each company. A lot of adjustability from Elite bows. Wish I had a elite dealer close to me to try one.
I did not. I haven't really been looking at bow releases since I really like mine. But, if you ever come across a dealer - shoot one. I've had Hoyt and Mathews but I'll never leave Elite now that I have one.
I have shot a couple different brands and end up always going back to hoyt carbon don't care for their aluminum bows. Also want to try prime and i haven't shot pse carbon yet either. Shot their aluminum bow don't like it. My friend has a elite and loves it but he also agrees it sucks not having a dealer around us. He bought his online hoping he would like it and now has had that bow for 3 years and says he will only upgrade to a new elite.

Yeah I had spinal fusion when I was 18 and always pull low poundage. Roughly 55-60lb. Thats why I always go with hoyt carbon, I love their draw cycle. Seems real easy to draw. My RX5 that I did have i was pulling 65 when we were getting it set up and when we put on the scale he was like oh its set on 65. So smooth but I really want to shoot a elite. Hear they have really good draw cycle. Its raining here in Indiana. Thursday temp drops down to 60 and then next week suppose to get into low 50s and at night in the 20s. Next week I'll be trying to get out a lot.
I am such a fair weather hunter - those low nights in the 20's make me cringe. I only pull 45#. My husband tried to convince me to use a cross-gun this year (I do not want to - he thinks I have to because itll make me relax more....really he just makes me mad at the thought) - and I cant even pull that thing back.

You should give it a shot since you have the option. I’ve killed a bunch of deer with both compound and crossbow and even a couple with a shotgun. They have all been positive experiences. Don’t let perfectionism hold you back. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
