Good deal, good luck this weekend. I’m on call this weekend so I won’t be getting out. I probably won’t get serious about shooting a doe until the late season. Or at least until the temperature drops significantly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

@Westfinger I was going to ask you if your wife bow hunts? If I remember right you said you were going to try and focus on getting her a buck this year. Good luck Johnny!
I wont be shooting a doe early, either. That's per my husbands request. Understandable, though. Had 19 deer in the field across from my house last night. Couldn't find binoculars to see what they were though.
She likes to deer hunt or should I say Buck hunt. She has taken one buck with a crossbow and a couple with a shotgun. Most years she doesn’t get out until the late season. She always says she will start hunting after I get my buck. This year she will get a chance to get out early. She hasn’t taken any good bucks with the crossbow so I’m hoping this will be her year. This is her buck from two seasons ago. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I should be out either Friday or Saturday I’m supposed to got florida Sunday for a week but with the hurricane we may just stay home
Good luck and have fun! Florida is getting pounded hopefully it won’t get much worse and things will work out for you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Well, it stopped raining. Right now, extended forecast looks good. We usually always get the rain when Florida gets a hurricane as it travels up to us - but so far, right now, it doesn't appear we will. So, as long as everything goes well, I'll be in the woods for a sit on Saturday. I need to get vanilla scented shampoo. I heard that works well for ladies - anyone heard that? My hair HATES anything that is unscented. I don't know if it's the chemicals in it or what.
My wife tolerates the unscented stuff but she’s not a fan either. One of the many sacrifices I guess. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I can't make the sacrifice anymore. My hair looks like a grease trap that hasn't been cleaned. Very unprofessional when you're a business manager. I don't mind the soap, at all, it's just the hair product needs to step up their game. Heck, for the next month - I wont even use any scented lotion or any hair products.
Hahaha I hear you. Sounds like their is a business opportunity there for someone with the right skill set. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Heading out tomorrow morning. Got some shooters daylighting. Got a decent wind for tomorrow. I won’t be shooting a doe this weekend. Hoping for one of the shooters to step out in the morning. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Tomorrow morning is our Illinois opener but I'm gonna skip it and let my hubby hunt. He likes the warm weather and its harder for him now hunting with cancer. So I will be waiting on standby to help him if he kills one. I will make it out Sunday morning, we are a bucks only county for the 1st 15 days of the season so all does get a free pass. I have a great spot picked out for my climber I just need to wait on the right wind. Best of luck everyone.
Good luck Lady forge and Justin! I hope your hubby shoots a giant lady forge! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Johnny miller just posted a good buck on the scorecard. He said he had no pictures with his bow but the kill is filmed so I believe the film counts in place of the pictures.
Saw one of my shooters this morning(the one in the back) but too far to shoot. Going back out this evening. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
