Well I had off today too and it was suppose to be a shed hunting day. A buddy called me up this week and said he was going fishing....yup you guessed it...we went fishing today instead of shed hunting. It's almost getting too warm here to walk around in the woods, snakes will be out before too long.

Sorry fellers that I couldn't be any more help to the team this year. I was pretty bummed that we didn't find the sheds on the days that we were out. Guess they just dropped them in different places.

Who's going to be in the turkey contest this year? I'm on team 3 i think.

And I was thinking it's about time to go looking for snakes. I love em! We don't have anything too menacing here, so I usually take a trip to southern Illinois or northern Kentucky to find "hots". Here is a little Dekay's brown snake from the other day...

LOOKING for snakes?!? You won't find anyone down here doing that haha only good snake here is a dead snake. We have cottonmouths and copperheads...with bad tempers. You would have to be half looney to go tramping around in our swamps looking for those guys haha

Hey guys I was able to get out Saturday morning and I found a old chewed up shed. It was funny because I was checking out this tree beavers started to chew up and I walked around the back of it and there was the shed. Other than that I found a button nick skull.
