Good luck CJ. The wife and I plan to go hickory shad fishing Saturday. Maybe Sunday we'll head out looking for some sheds. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Well I put in 5 hours and about 5.5miles or something like that and all I got to show is some random bones, crazy rubs, and an old pbr can. The sign is there and the trails are worn down just the grass is to think I'm sure I walked right past a few but was beautiful weather and got to watch geese land and take off all day so I can't complain to much.
Very nice! Looks like 8 total now. I'm headed hickory shad fishing tomorrow so I won't be able to get out until Sunday, hopefully. Unless the fish are biting again, then we'll have to wait until next weekend Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yard work has me home all day. It doesn't look like I'll work later this week, so I plan to hit up the same area where the 3 were found Friday. Got any pics of bucks you'll be chasing this season?
Those are some dandies right there. I don't have any pictures on my phone but I'll try to upload a couple bucks that I'll be watching over the summer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hit the jackpot today guys found this one near Chernobyl I think I'll let him go another year though.
Ahahaha that's what I feel like some of the Indiana and Illinois boys find haha Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Well fellers. Not exactly sure when shed season ends officially but I have Good Friday off. So I plan to make it an all day shed hunting day. It'll officially be a good friday then, hopefully with a couple sheds in my bag too.
Went back to the spot today where I found the last three. Came up empty in a couple hours and when I checked cams I couldn't believe I had a young 8 still walking around with both sides, the pic was taken march 20...couldn't believe it. One other 8 had one side and lots of does and shed bucks on camera as well. And the turkeys started showing up since the snow is gone/mostly gone Might have one or two more walks in me if not all my shed head hunting will be conducted while turkey hunting considering I have 4 tags and a youth hunt to help out in.
drive to PA we are still waiting for the snow to melt. we are just finally getting started. tough to see pics of all the sheds with green grass in the background. can't believe it we have more snow coming to our area!!!
Was doing some turkey scouting yesterday and sort of shed hunting and happened to find this old striker. Looks like its been out there a few years. My dad always told me to pay attention to old finds like this like old treestands ground blinds and such because the guys back then put them there for a reason, so I'm guessing I was scouting the right spot.
Makes you wonder how much stuff we pass by in the woods without even knowing Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
