Okay guys temps will be in the 50s and 60s this week so I will be getting boots on the ground. I plan on getting out a little tomorrow morning then I plan on heading to some public land on Wednesday and hopefully I can find something.

I headed out with the family Sunday morning and it ended up being more of a hike than a shed hunt. We got rained out of work today, so I hit up a couple different public spots. LOTS of good sign, but no sheds. We have to find them eventually...right???

I was thinking along the same lines...EVENTUALLY one of us is bound to mess up and find one.

That has to be the hunter of the year picture right there! Dedication to further young hunters at its finest!! It's never too early to start haha. Hope your family enjoyed the walk. Miss Lori and I enjoy our time together outside on adventures as well. I wouldn't trade that for the world.

Great pic man! I walked about three miles yesterday and found lots of sign but once again no sheds! Gettin frustrated! Checked the cam and had three bucks shed and three small bucks with horns still on their head, I was surprised to see that....and plenty of yotes.

I'm feeling your pain as well. I specifically stayed out of certain areas until now in hopes that more sheds would be concentrated in these areas. It'll happen tho, we'll find some eventually!

None of us are having any luck! I've put in around 12 miles so far and nothing yet. I'll keep at it!

I walked a third state park today...I've got 4 within 45 mins of the house. I found an old buck skull with the antlers hacked off and a sweet spot to hunt this season. No sheds...

You can't say we're lacking in boot work! Luck is just not there quite yet.

That's a beautiful deer right there. Sad sight but it's always a good feeling that you could find him.

There we go! It was only a matter of time. Lori and I spent another 4 hours+ yesterday and came up empty handed again.

Lake Geneva huh? Awesome. I live in Elkhorn. Only been out 4 hours on private land but haven't found anything yet. Any bucks on your cams with antlers still?

Here we go boys. All were found within 200 yards of each other. All the cameras were showing bucks with one horn or no horns no deer with both horns left.

Very nice CJ. That's 5 for the team total! I have a feeling that when we find some at the farm, they'll all be within a few yards of each other too.

Went for a small walk today bout 2 hours on some public land, didn't find any sheds but found some awesome sign that I will def be returning this fall. On another note tomorrow and Friday I'm off work so I will be heading home to our private land and will be hitting some of our most productive spots. Hopefully can find some good bone up there.
