Someone decided to set up under 3 hens this morning, won't mention any names. I got a few videos mostly sound of them in roost and a fly down. Won't let me post them from my phone.

    Official picture. 21.6lbs 1inch spur, and 3/4 spur, 9 3/4 beard. First time using NTWF score calculator: Your score is 21.375 + 10 + 7.5 + 19.5 = 58.375 :

Congrats on the bird. Way to get the team rolling.

As for me, I have spent the day getting all my gear ready. Cameras are charged, all my other camera gear is packed. Decoys are packed and ready. Got a new blind in last week. Turned the poundage down on my bow and got it all sighted in today also. Clothes are also sprayed down with permethrin(tick repellent),works great if you have never tried it, I suggest it. I use sawyer's. Got 3 maxima hunters tipped with nap gobbler getters and 2 with killzones just in case a coyote decides to try and steal a turkey from me again. Got my calls conditioned and ready to sweet talk a big ole gobbler in.

The only down side is the weather is supposed to turn crappy tomorrow then temps drop down to the 40s Monday. Worried it is gonna shut the birds down.....

Congrats on the bird! That's awesome! Way to go for the team.
The weather here has been goofy. Gonna get cold again this week. Wes, good reminder on the perimithean bug spray. gotta do that.

Found my blind out in the woods. The blizzard in Feb decided to move it about 75 yds from where I left it. Not too screwed up, but have to get some repairs done.

80 degrees yesterday, now it looks like it will be in the 30s and snowing for opening day tomorrow. That just really sucks. I will still be out, but thinking I may have to break out the heater... It is supposed to be spring time... not falling back into winter.

Didn't think I would be breaking this thing out till next winter, but with highs in the 30s tomorrow, ain't no since in sitting in the blind all day and getting cold when I have this thing sitting around.

In the blind. It's a little cool, a little windy, but I got 2 maybe 3 birds gobbling. I've hit the call a few times but have shut up for now, they are still gobbling every now and then and it sounds like it is getting closer. Got the camera gear set up and rolling, hope my mic is picking up the gobbles

Damn, my season was almost over fast, had a bird come in but hung up 40 yds to my left. Couldn't get him in front for a shot. Got some good footage though.

Here is a little clip to get every one fired up. I'm what you call a high tech redneck. Get wifi from my phone to use with my iPad to edit videos while I'm sitting in the blind and post em up. Gotta love technology, I know some people say it's dumb to bring this when you hunt, that you are trying to get away from it all, but to me it is all a part of my hunting. Just being out here is enough getting away for me....

I would take a recliner if I could. Thats a cool video, I have some video, more audio than video of the three hens I decided to set up under in their roost. They have never roosted there. Got an awesome fly down of one coming down. When I figure how to upload them I will. Keep it Team Turkey Takers!!!!
