Meeting with our builder today, so I doubt I'll get a hunt in. Pressure dropping out the bottom also, so I wouldn't think it would be great conditions. It is nice and cool out here tho. Oh and get this crap. My best friend went to Ireland with his step mom; his dad died last year and she died right in front of him at the Dublin Airport. They hadn't even seen Ireland. Probably a massive heart attack, but he is stuck there dealing with all the red tape. I told him to wander to the nearest pub and just get pissed.

Sitting here looking through my camera pics at my options and came up with a list of shooters. I’m telling myself that these are the only 4 I will shoot until it gets down to the nitty gritty. There’s a couple smaller ones around that may tempt me but I feel like as much as I’ve been seeing these guys all summer there’s a pretty good chance one of them will give me a shot. These weather patterns need to figure their sh** out! So frustrating having these warm ups right now and also very unusual easterly winds as well. This weekend the deer definitely were on edge with the wind shift as well as corn coming off for silage. Good news is that the cutting bumped in what looks to be a real good deer, but of course stayed far enough away from the camera to know what he is all about. My work hours get shifted to "winter hours" next week so that will help as then I get done around 3PM rather than 5-6PM.
Well now I’m anxiously awaiting 2 things. Saturdays coming oh so fast. Trying to keep myself busy to help speed it up a little. Can’t wait!!secondly I just spoke with my brother about elk hunt and I am on the list to possibly go next sept. There is one guy that has to decide if he wants to or can go next year. Just sitting here, getting ready for my workday to begin, and I'm amused with the swings of deer season. I'm always excited for it to start and the contest firing up is always a big boost. Then, early season kicks my ass (not always) and I sit here waiting for late October. Lol. I'll be out this weekend searching for a doe still. Warming up a good bit, so that'll be fun.
