I’m in northern Kentucky. Right across the river from Cincinnati. Go bengals!! Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I'm definitely over due as that was the last deer I shot. I've had opportunities at plenty of doe in the past, and last year finally found the hot spots where the bucks travel. I have to walk 2 1/2 miles to get there, but it is worth it! I'm sick of not having venison, and would really like to put some meat in the freezer this year. I'll leave my soft heart in the jeep, and shoot some does this year!
That's the tough part about public land. Is that you have to get in there deep in order for a chance at a good'un. You'll get'em this year!
A little about me… 35 y/o married father of 2. Hunt primarily the family farm in northern Kentucky. I manage computer technicians for staples. Unfortunately don’t have much in camera so far this year but hopefully something gonna show up soon. Picture is my best buck so far (got him in 2018)… season opens in 3 days here so I’m itching to get after it!! Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
This is my best also from 2017. Caught him trailing a doe hard and put an arrow through him at 25 yards. Taken off public land in Maryland.
He had a buddy who disappeared in daylight 1week before the opener. I shot the guy on the wall on September 20th.
