You got that right. It’s really hard for me to get excited hunting here but I wanted to get out one last time this early PA archery season. Definitely paid off and he definitely had me excited. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Man I’m starting to miss my buck tag… good thing I get another one for rifle season in MD, may hunt down there instead of rifle up in PA
Hunt where there showing up or where your odds are better. Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
haha thats the thing! i feel fairly certain i will atleast see deer in PA on opening day of rifle especially with doe being in this year, only have doe tags left. MD on the other hand could pay out huge with a buck or doe, and then again might not see anything but MD opens the same day for rifle so that could have deer piling into my spot, this is the first year im really hunting the property so Im not sure how hard surrounding areas get hunted.
Good luck either way! I know when I was in MD the moment it became legal light on opening day of firearm the rifles and slug guns were booming. If it's a private piece that doesn't get a whole ton of pressure you should be good! I hope you can tag out on a third buck in MD! Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk
Just got the truck unloaded. Going to load a few things up tonight. Considering in the morning to take my rifle and bow to the stand with me. Not sure as of yet. Definitely need to put some meat on the ground. Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk
Thanks team! Good luck tomorrow guys. I always took my bow along in gun season. I used in only when it was absolutely necessary. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
My little brother put down another doe and a buck today on Illinois public. I think he's killed more deer this year than the rest of his life combined!
Well still gun season here in Kentucky for another week, trying to get my son a deer on the ground then I will be getting after it hard, had a lot of bucks on camera lately but really only at night (so far) so hopefully that changes soon. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
No, it is pouring rain here today, and I'm in the final stretch of the semester when all the big papers are due. I'm hoping to make it out towards the end of the week. So much work to do though. Worst-case scenario, I have 2 weeks of winter break from school from December 23rd till January something, So I'll be out then for sure.
