Goodluck out there tomorrow guys! I’m spending the day with the wife, we close on a new build house the end of December so lots to do! I did get the blessing to go out Sunday evening, the only Sunday I can archery hunt in PA, going to channel my inner Joe and Nick and go back in about 1.25 miles, scouting for next year and looking for a good spot for rifle, would love to whack a doe with the bow though!!!
Well kinda kicking myself for missing that doe this morning. I know it was me and not my bow. I pulled the bow down to do a "Where did I hit?!" When I got down to check the arrow had not a single drop of blood or any type of wetness. I'm thankful it was a clean miss. But it should have been a dead doe.

Well the worst part was is the fact that I had the lead doe which was was the biggest at 8 yards. But she caught me trying to put my phone away. They ran off then came back and that's when I had my 30 yard shot. Just sucks because I know the wma that I hunt, having a deer in bow range doesn't happen often. But I'll be back out next weekend, I won't dwell on the miss after tomorrow. I had a boss tell me one time that he'd give me a day or two to dwell on a failure, but then he expected me to rise up and overcome what I had failed at. Hard to believe that I still remember when and where he said that.
I think I've picked the Reveal SK with dual antenna and solar panel. A little more pricey, but good reviews as far as I can tell.
