I put all my cameras up now, I've had cards messed with before and found if I go up a full stick from the ground they are left alone!
Checking in. Been busy and doing mostly duck hunting as of late with my boys and a first year lab. Shooting some birds but not a ton. Too many south winds to hunt lately and more coming this weekend. Want to take my boys out for the youth deer hunt this weekend but wind forecast is not great. Sunday looks a little better so hopefully can get them out. Unseasonably warm and not much movement on camera in daylight so waiting for better conditions before burning out spots. Good luck team!

I'm headed back out to Ohio later today for the weekend. High temps are to be in the mid 70's. Cell cam's still aren't showing very much movement during daylight.

This buck hasn’t showed up since August 12th. I got pictures of him last night at 8:00 pm and this morning at 3:00 am. I’m going in for 1st sit this afternoon hoping he will show up before dark. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Quick sit with my 11 year old middle child for the WI youth hunt. Not an ideal wind so we sat in ground blind that was marginal for wind depending where the deer came from. Had a doe and fawn and a spike come out and feed in front of us for 15-20 minutes. The spike was at 15-20 yards the whole time. I gave him the green light and said it was up to him as he hasn’t shot a buck yet, but he didn’t have any itch to shoot him. He was holding out for bigger. Still a cool experience we got to share together. Don’t think we’ll go out again tomorrow since it’s supposed to be 15-25 mph S winds in the afternoon. Probably hitting the duck blind instead in the AM.
