Well finally got to confirm with the homeowner that I have the side job for this weekend. Cleared to work on Sunday! Now I have to unload the truck and hit the woods tomorrow morning! Good luck in the morning Scott! Good luck in the afternoon Joe! Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk
AWESOME!!!! Best of luck to you in the morning! I'll be at the DMV in the morning with the wife getting all our drivers licenses/plates switched over to CT. The slow-moving front should be clearing up tomorrow morning with some great weather behind it! Let's put some points on the board BoiZ!!!!
Just wanted to say, I'm glad to be on this team with y'all! I love how active we've been, it makes it much more enjoyable!
I'm hoping to make it out tomorrow afternoon, probably with the 6 year old. No bucks on cam and iffy wind...full send!
This definitely is a good bunch of guys! I think we got the chance to take it all. Just have to get on the deer first... all I saw last week was 1 squirrel all day. So I'm really helping the cause lmao. Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk
Locked n Knocked. Sitting back from where I wanted to sit in more of an observation stand, but the wind is too southerly to get in tighter. Unfortunately, 78 and 15 mph SSW winds and possible rain weren’t what I had in mind but I’m out at least!
I’m hoping to see a squirrel! Agreed on the team. We have potential and seem like we all are going to be hunting a fair amount at least. That’s all we can ask!
Good luck Aaron! Hope you see one of the ones from the trail cam photos! Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk
A doe and two fawns and two smaller bucks and this guy paid me a visit as I was getting ready to leave the stand and a wind storm kicked up!
Thanks Nick and good luck to you too. Glad you were able to get off today. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Good luck today guys. I’ve seen 5 does and fawns, so far. It’s been a slow start but I’m so happy to out on stand. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Goodmorning y’all, 5 more days until the season opens down here in Louisiana. Y’all have been killing me with all the activity. Not much on camera here. Does are dropping fawns. Not much buck activity hitting the feeders or minerals. Kansas has been active with the temp drop just no mature bucks other than the one earlier. Good luck y’all.
Giving it another whirl tonight. Better weather. Still a bit windy but supposed to die down a bit. Fingers crossed. Not sure if I’ll shoot a doe tonight if presented with the opportunity. We will see!
Well that buck I missed was definitely the biggest I've ever shot at. I figured out that I shot right over his back at 40 yards. I put my 50 yard pin on him by mistake. When he was at 20 yards he was right behind a tree and I had no shot. But im thankful it was a clean miss. I will be back out there in that same area next Saturday. I have the feeling this is only the beginning with this buck. Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk
Agreed! Especially seeing as you won't be out there for another week. Great team effort today y'all! Good representation in the LFTS thread too!!
