Hey Joe, since you made this post, do you mind adding the points beside each name when it's entered? It's a great way to encourage competition and see who may or may not be slacking.
I should be back out this weekend, after a doe or a larger buck in MD. Unfortunately my buck is going to be the smallest one I shoot this year, but then again it could be the only one I shoot. I am so excited for my lottery hunt this season. Guys at work were talking and said I have a legit chance to kill a 140-150 buck in there.
I'd be excited too. Anytime you can get in an area with 140" plus bucks is huge. We've been managing our farms for about 6 years and we are starting to see the results.
Im hoping to get a lease in MD here in the next few years to start getting some bigger bucks, unfortunately the property I have right now I think its just too small to manage being only 25 acres. As for PA, I hunt public land, and a few private farms that allow anyone to hunt so its a crapshoot.
I know what you mean about PA. I've lived here all my life and still don't have a good place to hunt. I usually focus more on Ohio where I know I have a better chance at a big buck.
That's a good idea. I've been contemplating looking into a lease when I'm done with school and start working in 2023.
Yea once I get a house I think I’ll be able to convince the wife to let me spend a little money on some land, our end goal is to own a farm but that’s gonna take some serious money!
Hopefully I can extend our lead tomorrow! This year is different, I'm leaving my soft heart in the Jeep!!
