Kinda an off hunting topic question, anyone familar with the public transportation in the Baltimore/DC area? I'm heading to Baltimore next month for a few days at some point and was thinking about taking in a Nationals Game one evening. I've done some research already and looks like I can take either the MARC Commuter train or an Amtrak train from Bal to DC but I did have a few basic questions if someone had first hand knowledge of the transportions systems out there... Anyone?

No clue on the Baltimore/DC transportation, sorry. Back on the hunting topic :) I am going out to my property to check trail cameras and shoot at the 3D, then camping overnight to relax after this week of work. Hopefully I have some decent pictures to post but I have a feeling the bucks will mostly be off the camera and it will be all does, we'll see.

Well fellas I'm heading out shortly to check my cam! Weather looks nice and cool too so I might do a little extra scouting. Will post up pics if I have anything good!

Well I work in downtown Baltimore and I've used both the light rail and metro and I've also been to DC and used the metro there. I know where the MARC stop is in Baltimore but I've not taken that train myself. What questions did you have?

I just pulled some cams. Nothing good. I moved them to another spot. I'll check them in a week.

That's ok, once it gets close to season deer start changing their patterns. Hopefully you get some more pics next time!

Hello everyone! My name is Alex.

First off I would like to apologize for not checking in until now. I just moved into college and things have been a little hectic to say the least. I live and hunt in Steuben County, NY. I am extremely passionate about bowhunting and since my college is only live 25 minutes away from my house I will be hunting a lot this year. I have grown up on an Angus farm and love everything about it. We practice QDM and I have been fortunate enough to have harvested over 700" of antler by the young age of 18. I have been watching a decent 4 1/2 year old 9 point that I believe will gross around 125". He is in a bachelor group with two other four year olds, but I don't believe they will score as high as the nine point. I am truly excited to attempt to help out our team in anyway possible!

Welcome Alex, glad to have you aboard and checked in! Good luck on that 9 pointer and especially at college. What are you studying?

Hey Alex! Great to have ya! I am a few hours North West of you .... we do not have a lot of guys that hunt where the thick population of big bucks are, but we have one hell of a team that I believe will shock the 2013 BH.COM contest when it is all said and done!

Well I hate to disappoint but two days after I set the cam it fell off the tree. In that two day span I got one doe pic and two blurry night pics. Missed 20 days worth of activity. Sigh.

Gonna re hang and make sure it stays this time. Such a let down!

Well guys I went out to my property here in Florida hoping to get the first points on the board! This morning I saw one doe, and couldn't get a clean shot off due to the fact that she was sprinting by me at 100mph!! Lol Hopefully I can make it out there next weekend!

I'm getting really excited 3 weeks to go and I just finished hanging my last two sets. I do a lot of mobile hunts but I have about 12 permanent stands. I try not to hunt more than three times per set per year but sometimes i do during the rut. I checked my cams but only have some doe with some young bucks. The other night I glassed a nice buck but couldnt tell how big. He beds on our neighbors and if it's the same one as last year he was a 10:) I just got permission to hunt three of the five property's that border this bedding area.
