I'm glad to see that everyone is doing well here for team 5. I will be going home this weekend for a solid 5 day hunt and will be looking to land a nice doe! We can do this everyone, let's go team 5!!!

Im working hard to put something on the ground. I was in the stand for nine hours today, unfortunately the weather isnt cooperating. Its been wet and humid in the high 80's here. I will be back out tomorrow.

 

I hear ya, Maryland's not Texas by any means but tomorrow the high is 86.....it's October right?? wth!?

Heading out for a morning hunt tomorrow with a local forum member. Morning should be ok and I might try to squeeze in an evening hunt on the ground for the last two hours of light.

 

Saw one 8pt this morning! He didn't cooperate and took a trail behind and away from me. Closest was about 35 yards and no chance to shoot.

I got ya covered! I start tomorrow and will be hunting Saturday, Sunday, Monday as well....then Friday thru Monday again...then off 18-20, 25-5th ....there should be blood spilled ..and lits of it

 

Awesome guys! It's our fall break from school all next week and I was planting on hunting all week but our golf team won regionals so we move to state which is in Bowlingreen monday, tuesday, and wednesday.... but on the plus side golf is what has been keeping me out of the woods so it's all systems a go after thursday!!!

 

I might try and do a little scouting on some wma after school today before practice, would like to hang a camera or two but just not sure about that on public land...

 

Can't wait to get back out there fellas. Tomorrow morning!!

This weekend was nothing like I planned thanks to the rain...got in 2 afternoon and 1 morning sit ..almost connected twice with a doe...

Yesterday was 83 and humid...thunder showers in the morn..went to church

Today it is 70 degrees and raining....going into work and taking another day off this week. Cooler temps to come...
