Does anyone have any shed yet this season? I found one old one so far when I was checking camas on a new property.
Been out once so far but wasn't 100% concentrated on finding sheds. This weekend is supposed to get into the 50°s so I will probably spend some time at our property doing some hinge cutting and shed hunting.
None for me yet. I am waiting a little bit so I don't bump deer out of the woods I have permission to hunt. Only have a few 20-30 acre pieces of timber. Still getting pics of buck with horns.
I'm playing the waiting game too on some of the properties I'll be shed hunting. Been walking fields tho in the meantime.
Hey, guys. Sorry I'm late. Got really busy with work, but that's over. Ill be out all weekend searching. I'm in mid eastern Indiana on the Ohio border.
Went out this weekend a couple times with no luck. Right now we only have 2 shed bucks that im aware of. One is a nice one and the other one got hit by a car and shed a while back. It was in the 60 this past weekend so it was very nice getting out. Ill probably hit it again this coming weekend as long as im still free. Anyone else go out?
I went out this weekend and did some walking. Found a ladder stand to close for comfort and two piles of bones from yotes. No sheds yet but put some cameras out in different spots to take inventory.
I got out some today and came up empty. Did see one buck still holding both sides. Might be a little early yet but is was good to get out.
I can't remember if it was last year or regular before but I have trail cam pics of them holdings onto them til March in my area. So I have them shedding from Christmas til March. Lol Sent from my HTC6535LVW using Tapatalk
Glad to see some people got out, I didn't make it out, I do have a handful of cams set up gonna check them this week. Still early from my past gathered info. Hard to stay out of my good spots lol
if I don't have to work OT today ill be out a little bit. Got permission from neighboring property to look for the Buck I lost in Nov. Ill be looking for sheds also.
