Quartering away hard guys, that arrow is in his cavity straight towards opposite front shoulder is my guess. My buddy said in the first shot it looks burried and when that deer hunched to take off his front shoulder/ cavity pushed the arrow back a couple inches..man I hope!! When I mouth grunted him to stop he took 2 steps away from me making it a hard quartering away shot. He mule kicked hard and took off. Been 6 hrsnand starting to drizzle.. I think its liver 1 lung at worst.. fingers crossed!!

You going to be able to update from the field?

Can't match yours, but going to try to avoid some sleeplessness if not

Dead, barely went 50yds, bleeding out of mouth. After 3 years of eating tag here I couldn't let this buck walk, all self filmed as well!! Id say hes right around 130

Hell yeah, the more I looked at it the quicker I thought you would find him.

Congrats man, doesn't matter the score, you put a shot on him and recovered, that's what it is all about.

    Enjoy it, well deserved!

Awesome man! That is a great buck! I'd shoot him any day.

Woot woot! I called it, 50 yards! Love that you found him quick, great job!

I'll be out in the morning with high hopes and aspirations.

Going to be absolutely perfect weather conditions the next 2 days and not bad the 2 days after that.

Give me the property alone the next two days and I like my chances!

I put a buck down today, still have yet to score him as it has been hectic since 1pm. I'll post pic in a few, on my computer and they are on my phone. There is one in the LFTS thread

I think this may be my first buck kill on Nov. 11th. Will have to search the archived threads here, every kill has been documented since 2009 anyway. Just have to figure out which thread it would be in if not in LFTS, as LFTS didn't start up until 2012

I'll be headed out west tomorrow for four days. Gonna be pretty fun I think. I'm hoping to run into a muley if I can with my bow. I also have whitetail tags that open up on Saturday with a rifle, but I'll carry both weapons. Friday is gonna be a 100% mission to kill a muley though. Have a spot that's 4 miles back in on a walk in area that I think will be pretty good. Hopefully it goes well!

Awesome to hear you get a buck! Excited to see it.
