Rob checking in. Been on here since 2017. 2nd time in contest I believe. I basically hunt a friends 23 acres. He has a pond in the front of his property and his house sits right in the middle. Rest is woods. Pretty much just catching the deer passing through between cow pasture, farm land and a state park. You have to enter a drawing to archery hunt state park and I didn't get a ticket this year. All the farm land surrounding me is owned by one farmer and he lets all his boys and their friends, (and some workers) gun hunt back there. They shoot everything they can come gun season. I watched them drive a tractor with a trailor up into the field and seven guys in orange jumped off and headed off in different directions. Anyways, I try to do the right thing and hunt mature deer and let young ones pass, but there doesn't seem to be many around. Below are 2015 and 2017 bucks. Only had one buck i went after last year and had one shot at him and missed high. Also couple picks of 2 deer in the area I will be chasing this year. Good luck to everyone and will try to keep active on here.

Here is a little bio from me. My actual name is Holt and I am married and have 2 daughters. Born and raised in Maryland and lived here my whole life. I own my own construction business, which allows me to hunt alot more or until I run out of money! Lol! I'm on my 29th archery season this year. I have alway been a meat hunting until 2010 I decided to try and shot a nice buck. Well I was able to connect on the biggest buck I have ever seen that year. From that point on I was obsessed with big bucks. I have slowed down some now and try to just enjoy hunting for what it is. But I do get the urge to find and hunt the biggest buck in the woods. In 2016 I shot a really big buck and he became the new #8 biggest buck for non typical with bow in the whole state of Maryland. Pics to follow of a few bucks over the years.

Not gonna lie, even with that 190+ in the line up, the pic that caught my attention and made me double take is the last one. Thought "Damn, he has a pack mule to haul things out"

Then realized it was a decoy or two in the background lol

Haha, that's a old hunting cabin. I dragged that buck out that morning for almost a mile to that cabin. Then I was able to park my truck there and load up the buck. Those old 3 d targets have been there for 15 plus years. That's why they are stacked up, because you can blow an arrow right thru one.

I can do it in about 6 hours, crappy signal inside at work and is raining outside right now.

@tc racing was on this morning and @dmax4me was on yesterday morning before teams were announced.

I'll PM them this evening and link them here, should receive an email alert with that.

Trying to scrounge up 50 points on a doe tonight. Been sitting for about an hour and a half so far. My group of buddies and I have shot three does here before early in the season.[IMG]

Kind of a homebrew. I bought a rock climbing harness off Amazon and some rope/carabineers. It's not the most comfy thing in the world but I can "sit" for over three hours. Total price was under $70.

PM has been sent to the remaining crew for check in. Hopefully they all check in.

Not worried about Shane and Dmax in the slightest, and the remaining have been members for at least 3 years so feel confident we'll have a fully assembled team shortly.

Be crazy if @bornfromthecorn can get us on the board before we have a full team

i feel we have the team to beat. seems to be a bunch of killers on this team. i hope everyone will be committed to the contest. i was on a very active team the last 2 years and that is what wins you the contest. everyone has to be all in to get this done.

Has everyone been in the contest before?

I'm familiar with Holt, Tc Dmax, Shane and obviously myself but admittedly not real familiar with the rest, pretty sure I have seen sparrow around though.

Wasn't you building a house last year? If so did you finish it?
